Umar Bashir is looking forward to be playing more games for Asante Kotoko after a slow start at the club.
The former West African Football Academy player joined Asante Kotoko five months ago, but has since struggled to command a starting place in the team.
Speaking exclusively to FootballMadeInGhana.com, Umar Bashir is hoping things will change quickly in his favour.
“The truth is I’m really happy with how things are going at the club. But personally I want to help more. I want to contribute a lot on the pitch. I know my time will come. I hope when the chance come I will grab it,” he said.
“I need to improve on many aspect of my game. The competition in the team is very hard. Everyone wants to play but at the end of the day the coaches has the final say,.” he added
Umar Bashir has featured in only a few games Asante Kotoko have played so far in the Confederations Cup.
