The Government of Ghana is set to support clubs that qualify to the group stage of CAF club competitions with $250k, starting with Kumasi Asante Kotoko, FootballMadeInGhana.com can reveal.
The Porcupine Warriors will be cushioned with the huge financial support as the government looks to support them to stage a good performance in the competition.
This, according to insiders, will not be limited to only Asante Kotoko as the government is institutionalizing it.
Other Ghanaian clubs that will subsequently qualify for the group stage of either the CAF Champions League or the Confederation Cup will be given the same amount of money.
