AC Horoya defender Godfred is happy after helping his  Guinean side AC Horoya to Super Cup glory.

Horoya defeated Wakriya FC by a lone goal to lift the prestigious Guinean Super Cup trophy and the Ghanaian is elated about it.

Asante who was resolute at the back insists is a dream come true as he won his first Super Cup trophy with the former African champions.

“This cup is important to us, so we fought hard to win the match. ” Asante told footballmadeinghana.com

“Me personally, it is my first Super Cup with HAC and I am very happy that I played. In all, it was a great game. We fought well. ”

AC Horoya’s fellow Ghanaians namely S Brefo Mensah and Hudu Yakubu all featured in the game.
