Asante Kotoko have registered their interest in signing Inter Allies striker Victorian Adebayor.
The Niger international impressed once more again during Wednesday’s friendly match between Inter Allies and Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Adebayor’s display left several of the Kotoko’s fans clamoring for his purchase from Inter Allies.
And former management member Alhaji Abu Lamine has made the initial approach towards signing the Nigerian.
“Kotoko is the club as at now to have showed serious interest in Adebayor,” Inter Allies technical director Willie Klutse has confirmed.
“My good friend Alhaji Lamine called me over the player and I told him of course the player is available if they are ready to pay.”
Hearts of Oak are reported to be also interested but are yet to make an offer.
Adebayor who was signed by Inter Allies last year is valued at around $200,000.
