Ghana midfielder Priscilla Okyere picked up a knock on her shoulder in the 1-0 win over Algeria on Saturday.
The Black Queens opened their campaign at the 2018 Africa Women’s Nations Cup with a slim win over the North Africans before an expectant home crowd.
Gladys Amfobea’s 13th minute thunderbolt proved enough to hand Ghana the much needed win.
Saturday’s win however came at a cost as a couple of players picked up various degrees of knocks with that of Priscilla Okyere amongst the most visible ones.
Okyere was seen clutching onto a heavily strapped left shoulder after the game.
She is however expected to be fine for Ghana’s next group game against Mali on Tuesday.
Goalkeeper Patricia Martey is another with an injury concern as she suffered a strange ankle injury after the game.
Both players will be assessed by the Ghanaian medical staff with an official update expected anytime soon.
Ghana is second in Group A level on three points with Cameroon who have a better goals scored advantage following their 2-1 win over Mali on Saturday night.
