Midfielder James Akaminko has written to the management of Ashanti Gold S.C for the termination of his contract, FootballmadeinGhana.com understands.

The reason behind the player’s decision to leave Obuasi remain undisclosed but Footballmadeinghana.com can reveal that the player has received a lucrative offer from another local club hence his decision to force a move away from the club.

The former Tema Youth midfielder was integral part of Ashanti Gold side in the truncated Ghana Premier League.

He joined AshGold on a three -year contract at the start of the 2018 season.
