Ghana midfielder Mohammed Abubakari is glad after helping his club Helsingborg IF to secure Allsvenskan promotion.

Abubakari has been the fulcrum of the Helsingborg team this season playing 27 games, scoring three goals and providing three assists as they made a return to the Swedish topflight.

The experienced holding midfielder maintains that it is a dream come true to lead HIF back to the elite division and he feels so elated.

“It feels great to play an important role in our qualification. It is very special to do such a thing with a big team like Helsingborg.” Abubakari told footballmadeinghana.com

“The season was great for me, I will always look back at my two goals against Oesters IF over the weekend with fond memories. It has been an excellent season personally,”

Abubakari has previously featured for Atvidabergs and BK Hacken.
