Ghanaian striker Kwame Kizito says he terminated his contract with Al Ittihad because of the civil unrest in Sudan.
Kizito famously left Hearts of Oak to sign a three-year with the oil-rich Libyan club as a free agent.
The former GlowLamp Academy player spent just 10 months of a three-year contract with the Red and Whites.
He now explains the war-like atmosphere in Sudan was the reason why he decided to terminate his contract with Ittihad
“I personally terminated my contract with Al Ittihad due to unrest in the country. The atmosphere at various stadia is mostly terrifying, fight here and there including players at times, playing away matches is very difficult due to security issues, it wasn’t safe for me and I decided to terminate my contract” Kizito told FOX FM in an interview.
