New Asante Kotoko coach Charles Akonnor was introduced to his players on Wednesday morning.

The former Black Stars captain has signed a three-year contact to become the substantive replacement for Paa Kwesi Fabin who resigned last month.

Akonnor presided over his first session at Kotoko’s training site at Adarko Jachie on Wednesday morning.

He led the team into a prayer after he was formally introduced to his players.

Akonnor has pledged to deliver an attractive and effective brand of football he terms ‘Agroball’.

He will be unveiled to the press later on Wednesday at the Sports Hotel in Kumasi.
