There were no votes from Ghana head Coach Kwesi Appiah and captain of the Black Stars Asamoah Gyan in the selection of the FIFA best player awards.

FIFA released details of the voting process  after Croatia’s Luca Modric won the Best Men’s Player of the year Ghana’s two automatic representatives did not vote.

Meanwhile Asamoah Gyan has not been in the Ghana selection for sometime now as Appiah continues to try other options.
