Ghanaian striker Benjamin Tetteh continued with his rich vein of form by scoring twice in Sparta Prague’s 4-1 win over Slovan Liberec on Saturday evening.
The 21-year-old followed up with his heroics on Monday at Ostrava by completing his brace under just 34 minutes to send Sparta to the summit of the Czech topflight.
Tetteh first scored in the 26th minute to double Sparta’s lead after Stanciu had put the hosts ahead in the 17th minute.
The former Ghana U20 star then extended the lead eight minutes later before eventually being replaced with 15 minutes to the end.
Tetteh’s brace confirmed his vastly improved consistency in front of goal since joining Sparta from Bohemians in the summer.
He has now taken his tally to five goals in nine matches which is currently the most goals-per-games return for any Ghanaian playing in any top league in Europe.
