Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Lomotey has stepped up on his recovery at Villarreal.

The 20-year-old has suffered a thigh strain which is expected to keep him out for 10 days.

Lomotey has been working with club physios and rehabilitation machines at his Spanish club.

The former Dreams FC playmaker will be hoping to be fit for the Villarreal B game against SD Ejea on September 23.
