As part of their preparation as host national team of the 2018 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON) the Black Queens of Ghana will be embarking on a regional tour to keep the players in shape ahead of the tournament kick off in November.
Bashir Hayford and his charges will arrive in Ashanti region tomorrow September 12 to continue their preparations for the tournament slated for November 17 to December 1 this year.
The team will train at the Baba Yara stadium on Wednesday at 3:00 PM.
Then on Thursday September 13 they will visit the Ashanti regional minister and the chief executive of Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly at 9:00 AM. The team will then pay a visit to the Executive chairman of AshantiGold FC Dr Kwaku Frimpong at his residence.
The team engages in a friendly game with Kumasi Sports Acedemy at 3:00pm at the Baba Yara stadium.
The Black Queens will then wrap up their Ashanti regional tour on Friday 14th September by facing a Kumasi select side at the Baba Yara stadium at 3:00 PM.
The team will then travel to the Brong Ahafo region to continue their preparation.
