Ghana League Clubs Association chairman Kudjoe Fianoo wants the media to be represented on the next Ghana Football Association Congress.
Fianoo believes this should be part of the reforms to the country’s football as the sporting media forms part of stakeholders of the game and deserves a place on the highest decision making body of the GFA.
“We have the players bodies, coaches groups, the regional football bodies as well as clubs as members of the GFA Congress and so I see no reason why we cannot have a place for the media.” Fianoo stated on Oyerepa FM.
“For instance that slot can be given to SWAG or any other way we can have the media represented on the Congress.”
“The media is part of us. They play a massive role in the promotion and development of our game and I believe we should consider giving them a Congress slot” the former Ashantigold C.E.O added.
