The management of Nkoranza Warriors has announced a friendly against premier league side Ashantigold will take place on September 30 in Nkoranza in the Bring Ahafo region.

CEO of the Miners Mr. Frederick Acheampong has confirmed this to FootballmadeinGhana.com

“Yes it is true we have agreed in principle to play the said match. They invited us for the anniversary game and that will be after our games against Kotoko” Mr. Acheampong confirmed to this website.

The friendly match with the Division club is to celebrate of the one year  anniversary since the club was bought by its owner and bankroller Mr. Leslie Kuuku Bartels.

The former Bofoakwa Tano CEO purchased the club when it was known as Bolga All Stars – relegated from the 2017 Ghana Premier League.

The club was really performing very well in the Zone On of the Division One League and were leading the standings until the premiere of the famous Anas Number 12 corruption video that halted the league season.

Meanwhile Ashantigold play Asante Kotoko in a crunch friendly encounter this weekend.
