Red-hot Benjamin Tetteh cued pandemonium among the home fans after securing the opener on the stroke of half time in a 2-0 victory against Dukla Prague.

The Week 7 Liga 1 clash between the two city rivals served nothing short of excitement, but it was the home side, Sparta that showed much intent with 10 shots on goal to the visitors’ 3.

After threatening the goal area thrice in the opening half of the game, it was that of Tetteh that proved meaningful as Sparta headed for the locker room with a goal up.

This was the 21-year-old’s second league goal of the campaign.

The former Standard Liege man couldn’t add to his tally as he was replaced in the 56th minute by Vukadinovic Vukanic.

Gabonese Ganka Guelor doubled the home side’s lead on the 82nd minute to wrap up the win for Sparta.

With all three points, Sparta Prague move third on the league log, a point behind Slavia Prague and Plzen.
