An Accra High Court has ordered the Registrar General’s Department to return all assets in its possession belonging to the Ghana football Association.
This comes after government of Ghana filled for the discontinuation of the liquidation processes of the Ghana football Association.
It would be recalled that FIFA gave Ghana a deadline of 27th August to withdraw the court processes to liquidate the Ghana FA or face suspension. Government met FIFA on August 16 to agree to certain terms before accepting to withdraw the case.
The Attorney General moved the motion for discontinuing the liquidation process on the GFA this morning at the Commercial Division of the Accra High Court.
With the completion of the process, FIFA is set to constitute a Normalization Committee to steer the affairs of the Ghana Football in the next two days.
