Ghana international midfielder Mubarak Wakaso is part of Deportivo Alaves that play as visitors of FC Barcelona on the opening match-day of the 2018/19 La Liga season.

Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde is expected to name the likes of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Coutinho in his starting list to face Fernando Abelardo’s side at the Nou Camp tonight.

The Black Stars player made 12 league appearances for the Spanish side last season and will be looking forward to play more this term.

Alaves lost both leagues games they played against Barcelona last season but are relishing the opportunity to pull an upset against the champions.
