Black Satellite skipper Issahaku Konda has stated that they are determined to qualify at the expense of Benin on Sunday when they face off in the second leg of the African Youth Championship qualifiers.
Ghana won the first leg by 3-1, with a brace from Richard Danso and a goal from Ishaaku Konda at the Cape coast and will be looking forward to finish the job on Sunday when they face in Cotonou for the return leg.
Speaking to Oman fm after their friendly game against Cheetah FC. The captain of the side is full of confident ahead of the game on Sunday.
“My boys and I are determined to qualify for the African Youth Championship, preparation is going well in camp, and we are learning a lot of tactics ahead of the game. I can say we are having a good preparation” Konda said.
The Wa All stars defender also confirmed that all the players in camp are for fit and ready for the battle on Sunday.
“There are no injuries in camp, just some minor ones. But everyone will be fit on Sunday for the Benin encounter” he added.
