Head Coach of the Black Satellites of Ghana, Jimmy Cobblah has revealed what he told his players after they were trailing by a goal to nil against Benin at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium in the African U-20 Youth Qualifiers.
The Black Satellites of Ghana scored three second half goals through WAFA Academy’s striker, Richard Danso and Wa All Stars’ Ishaaku Konda against Benin after conceding a goal in the first half.
Coach Jimmy Cobblah told the press after the game what he told his players during half time. “I told them we are just down, we are not out, so we should go there and come and play. I realized they were in a hurry to score so they were giving long passes to the strikers so I told them to come down and come for the passing, and whatever we want, we will get it and it worked for us.
Ghana will play Benin in the return league with a two goal advantage.
