Ghana attacker Patrick Twumasi says Deportivo Alaves coach Sergio Fernandez has given him enough motivation to excel with his team.

Twumasi, 24, joined the La Liga outfit last week but was officially unveiled to the fans on Monday.

The versatile forward hinted that his new coach has already boosted his morale at Alaves and he himself has also worked tirelessly to get the chance to play for the club.

“The coach has given me a lot of motivation to work here. Alaves is a very important team and I have worked very hard to have this opportunity. ” Twumasi told the media

“I’ve had a very warm welcome from the fans. I am very happy to be here and I will do everything I can to help the team and for the fans to feel proud. ”

Twumasi has been arguably the best player at Astana FC for three seasons before his move to Alaves.
