Ghana international Mohammed Abubakari is pleased with his maiden goal for Swedish Superattan side Helsingborg IF.
The experienced midfield enforcer was the best player on the pitch on Thursday and capped it with a wonderful strike in the 69th minute as Helsingborg defeated Norrby by two goals to nothing in the Swedish second-tier.
Abubakari who operates just in front of the back four was pleased with his output as he insisted Thursday night was one of the memorable days in his career.
“It was a great game, fantastic teamwork and I am very happy with my goal,” Abubakar statec after the game.
“It is one of the memorable games in my career, it is a night I will never forget,”
The holding midfielder who is the first player Feyenoord Ghana (WAFA) sold abroad over a decade ago has been one of the most consistent Ghanaian players in Europe. He has featured for clubs in the Netherlands, Greece and Helsingborg is his third club in Sweden.
