Benjamin Tetteh’s Sparta Prague crashed out of the UEFA Europa League despite a 2-1 win over Samuel Afum’s Spartak Subotica.
Tetteh, 21 failed to score in the game despite lasting the entire duration in the game while Afum was not included in his side’s squad in the game played at the Generali Arena.
The hosts however started on a good note when Josef Sural strucked in the 28th minute to hand them a deserved lead.
Their 2-0 deficit suffered in the first leg was canceled out when Srdjan Plavsic scored in the 66th minute to double the lead.
Sparta’s momentum was however watered down when the visitors scored from the spot kick through Milan Marcic.
Pavel Hapal piled the pressure in search of two elusive goals that never came to see the side exit from the competition at just the qualification stage.
