Former Ghana Black Starlets striker Abass Issah will not feature this evening when his club Olimpija Ljulbljana face Irish giants Crusaders.
Abass is currently serving suspension and will not be available for the epic clash at the Seaview Stadium in Ireland.
The Ghanaian was sent off in Olimpija’s game against Qarabag last month which was in the Champions League qualifiers and since his club were knocked out and they had to drop to the Europa League, the red card still holds.
Olimpija Ljulbljana officially wrote to FIFA seeking for clarification after they delibrately rested him in the first game against Crusaders but the world football governing body have relied them stating the suspension still holds.
Abass is currently being courted by Swiss champions Young Boys and could make a move before the summer transfer window ends.
