Head coach of the Ghana national U-20 women national team, Yusif Basigi has expressed his dissatisfaction following the team’s failure to honor their tour of Spain ahead of the 2018 World Cup.
The Black Princesses, as part of their preparations for the 2018 Women’s U-20 World Cup were supposed to go for camping at Spain, but was cancelled due to refusal of Visas.
According to Coach Yusif Basigi, going on a training tour could have helped her ladies to get exposure and also acclimatize before the tournament.
“If you go on training tour, it’s a plus for you, because it helps for acclimatization and then gives you some exposures and all that. If you don’t get and you travel direct to the tournament early also, I think it also help in acclimatizing, so whichever way that will come, we will go by it” Basigi said.
Ghana will play their first game against host nation France on August 5.
