Former Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko player Charles Taylor has blasted Western Regional FA chairman Kojo Yankah for accusing the government of doing politics with Ghana football.

Taylor described the EXCO member as a joker and charged him of destroying Ghana football.

“A person like Kojo Yankah needs not to be taken serious. I do not see any sense in what he says” He told Kumasi fm.

“He only spit jokes and ‘concert’. These are the people who have destroyed our game. Why didn’t he stay in Ghana than living in the USA and be pouring only negative thoughts in Ghana. With his assertion it means footballers need to reveal their political affiliations before earning a call up to the national team”

Charles Taylor also called on the media to stop interviewing him on football issues as he has nothing to offer Ghanaians .

“I’m entreating the media to stop interviewing him. Such people are only interested in throwing dust in the eyes of the masses. They have nothing to offer.”
