Spokesperson of the liaison team, Dan Kweku Yeboah has revealed that there hasn’t been changes in venues to host the 2018 African Womens Cup of Nations in Ghana.
According to Dan Kweku Yeboah, they have written to CAF for change in venues because of the works going on at the Accra Sports Stadium but they are yet to have responds.
“We can’t say there will be changes until CAF gives approval, if we look at the works going on at the Accra Sports Stadium, we don’t want it to catch us unaware, so we have suggested both Tamale and Kumasi to CAF as alternatives,” Yeboah stressed
“Takoradi and Cape Coacst are other options, but there are works to be done at Essipong. They have acknowledged receipt of the letter but they are yet to response” he added.
