Ghana international Rabiu Mohammed has rejoined Russian outfir Anzhi Makhachkala after two years in the treatment room.
Rabiu, 28, joined the onetime richest club in the world officially on Sunday having pent 24 months on the sidelines.
Anzhi officially announced the signing of Rabiu who has not seen action for two years on their twitter handle.
“Today Ghanaian midfielder [Rabiu Mohammed] signed an agreement with the club,” Anzhi twitted.
“The 28-year-old central midfielder is known to Russian football fans for his performances for Kuban Krasnodar, for whom he played more than 50 matches in various competitions.
“Recall that in 2016, the midfielder worked with Anzhi, but then a traumatic and prolonged rehabilitation [after an injury] did not allow him to appear in the team.”
Rabiu has previously played for Evian Thonon in France as well as Krasnodar in Russia as well as a host of Spanish lower-tier clubs.
