Board member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Mr. Odotei Sowah has called on football administrators to exercise patience with government as they look to solve the impending football crisis in the country.
Mr. Odotei, who doubles as the Member of Parliament for La Dade Kotopon Constituency, told Happy fm Sports that all stakeholders should rally behind government in their bid to transform football in the nation.
“For 13 years and over I’ve telling people that there’s something wrong with our football. It became much easier to do wrong than right,” Odotei emphasized
“I’m urging football people to be patient. The direction our football right is challenging. Our football right now is not fit for purpose so we should be patient with government and work with them to bring the reforms.
“Football can’t be run by a non-football persons, I believe it’s impossible because football is govern by rules. We should talk to those handling the issue politely. Football people have talked to government and they are making efforts in finding an amicable solution and I believe it will end well.” He added
