Ampem Darkoa Ladies visit President Akufo-Addo ahead of CAF Women’s Champions League campaign

Ahead of the CAF Women’s Champions League tournament in Ivory Coast, Ghana Women’s Premier League champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies, paid a visit to the President of the land Nana Akufo-Addo.
The visit was to seek his blessings, support and also take the opportunity to present their WAFU and domestic trophies ahead of the CAF Women’s Champions League tournament.
Ampem Darkoa Ladies after winning the our in Ghana went on to win the WAFU championship in Nigeria.
They will be competing in the tournament’s group stage against formidable teams from Morocco, Mali, and Equatorial Guinea.
During their visit, President Akufo-Addo welcomed the team and pledged GHC500,000 to support their campaign. The team expressed their gratitude for his support and encouragement.

Ampem Darkoa Ladies have been drawn in Group B alongside Moroccan side AS FAR, as well as AS Mande and Huracanes from Mali and Equatorial Guinea respectively.
The tournaments is scheduled to start on November 5, 2023 in Ivory Coast.
