U20 WWC qualifiers : Ghana beat Guinea Bissau to progress to next stage

Ghana’s Under 20 Women’s National Team, the Black Princesses are through to the next stage of the 2024 FIFA Women’s U-20 World Cup qualifiers after beating Guinea Bissau 3-0 at the Accra stadium on Saturday.
The Black Princesses went into the game on the back of 3-0 win in the first leg encounter in Bissau a week ago.
Ghana despite their dominance failed to find the breakthrough in the first half.
The Black Princesses took the lead four minutes after recess through Tracy Twum.
Wasima Mohammed doubled Ghana’s lead ten minute later after connecting a header from Succes Ameyaa’s corner.
There was more to come for Ghana as Helen Alormenu made 3-0 for Ghana on the 83rd minute.
Ghana held on to win 6-0 on aggregate as they progress to the stage of the qualifiers.
The Black Princesses are chasing a record seventh straight FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup. The Black Princesses made their first World Cup appearance in 2010 and have gone ahead to play in six tournaments on the spin. (2010, 2012,2014, 2016, 2018, 2022).
