CAF Confederations Cup: Dreams hold Kallon FC to secure group stage spot

Dreams FC have booked a spot in the group stage of the 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup group stage after eliminating Kallon FC in the final stage of the preliminary round.

The FA Cup champions held Kallon FC to a 1-1 stalemate in the second leg of the final preliminary round in Liberia on Saturday, September 30, 2023.

Dreams went to the game with a 2-1 in advantage from the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium in Ghana.

Agyenim Boateng gave Dreams an early lead  converting nicely from the spot.

Despite a late equalizer from the host, Dreams held on to book their book a place in the group stage of the 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup with 3-2 win on aggregate.

Dreams FC made history by reaching the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup in their first appearance in competition.
