Ghanaian winger Kwabena Owusu was on target for Hungarian side Ferencváros in their 3-1 win over Serbian side FK Cukaricki in the Europa Conference League on Thursday night.
After 90 minutes, the striker had given a strong performance and scored to assist his team defeat the opposition 3-1.
The opening goal of the game was scored by FK Cukaricki in the 26th minute on a goal by Dorda Ivanovic that enthralled the away supporters.
Barnabas Varga’s equaliser later in the 44th minute brought the score back to even, giving the home team a boost.
Kwabena Owusu took advantage of a scoring opportunity just before halftime to give Ferencváros the game’s first lead.
After the break, Aleksandar Pei’s second-half goal gave the Hungarian team a 3-1 victory and the full three points.
