Black Stars Head Coach Chris Hughton has called up Medeama forward Jonathan Sowah for the upcoming TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Central Africa Republic on September 7.
The attacker has been included in the 25 man squad for the next week crucial game.
Sowah will join the squad on Monday to begin preparations for the crucial AFCON match at the Baba Yara Stadium .
The forward scored 12 goals in 22 appearances to help Medeama secured their first Ghana Premier League.
He also scored the only goal as the Tarkwa-based side secured a 1-0 win against Remo Stars in the first leg of the preliminary stage of the CAF Champions League.
Jonathan Sowah is the only local based player that made it into Chris Hughton squad for the upcoming game against Central Africa Republic.
