WAFU B WCL Qualifiers : Hat-trick hero Mary Amponsah named Man of the Match in Ampem Darkoa ladies win over Atletico D’Abidjan
In-form attacker Mary Amponsah been voted as Man of the Match after her dazzling performance for Ampem Darkoa Ladies in the WAFU B Women’s Champions League qualifiers against Atletico D’Abidjan.
The Ghana international scored a hat-trick as the champions thumped the Ivorian side 3-1 at the Samuel Ogbemudia Sports Stadium.
It took Mary Amponsah Ladies just two minutes after kick off to give Ampem Darkoa Ladies the lead at the Samuel Ogbemudia Sports Stadium.
The attacker doubled her side’s lead on the 15th minute tapping home a pass in the penalty box.
Mary Amponsah completed her hat-trick on the 28th minute aftter recieving a pass from Ophelia Serwaa.
The attacker has been in phenomenal form since the start of the competition scoring seven goals in two games.
