‘Shocked’ Samuel Boadu rubbishes report of Cornerstones move

Former Hearts of Oak coach,  Samuel Boadu has denied report that he has been appointed as the head coach of Division Two side kumasi Cornerstones.

This comes after the club announced on their twitter account that, they have reached an agreement with him to become the new head coach of the club.

Cornerstones on Monday announced on their official Twitter account that,

“We are delighted to announce Mr. Samuel Boadu as a stop-gap coach. We are certain that Boadu’s experience and standard of excellence as a tactician will impact Cornerstone Football Club positively as we work assiduously to revive our old glory”

But the former Medeama coach in an interview with Kessben FM has debunked the report insisting he has no idea of the report.

“I haven’t held conversations with anyone at the team. I haven’t even made my mind on joining them. How can I live in Accra and manage in Kumasi.

He continued: “I’m even surprised seeing this because,  I haven’t held talks with the club. There’s no truth in this, you can verify from anyone at the club.”

Samuel Boadu has been without a club since leaving Hearts of Oak at the beginning of the 2022/23 season.

He is currently the head coach of the National U20 side the Black Satellites.
