French League 2 side Girondins de Bordeaux have released former West African Football Academy attacker Jamal Haruna.
The French side signed Haruna in 2019 from Ghana Premier League side WAFA after his exploits for the club.
The 22 year old struggled to make an impression for the reserve side since joining the club in 2019.
He failed to break into the first team after struggling in the reserves side.
The nibble footed made 27 appearances for the reserves failing to score in any of the games.
Bordeaux decided against offering him a renewal hence allowing him to leave for free.
Jamal joined the French side from WAFA after impressing in the Normilisation competitions.
He was the toast of fans during the GFA Normalisation Competition where he scored 3 goals and won 4 MOTM awards.
