2022 World Cup benefit : Dreams and King Faisal to get $18k each

Dreams FC and King Faisal are set receive a benefit of $18,250.72 from the FIFA Club Benefits Programme due to their players’ inclusion in the 2022 World Cup which was held in Qatar.

This is due to the involvement of Fatawu Issahaku and Danlad Ibrahim in Ghana’s 2022 World Cup campaign.

Dreams FC are getting the said amount due to Fatawu Issahaku’s loan stint at the club during the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.

King Faisal meanwhile will benefit due to the short stint of Danlad Ibrahim at the Club.

Meanwhile their mother clubs Steadfast and Asante Kotoko will get $109,504.72 and $200,757.97 respectively.

Hearts of Oak got highest share taking $219,008.70 followed by Kotoko before King Faisal and Dreams FC.

The cash will be transferred to the Ghana Football Association, which will subsequently distribute them to the appropriate beneficiary clubs.

The FIFA Club Benefits Programme is an effort aimed to recognize the contributions of football clubs during World Cup seasons.
