MATCH REPORT: Dreams FC 2-0 King Faisal – Still Believe lads whip In Sha Allah boys to win 2023 MTN FA Cup

A goal in each hal by Abdul Aziz Issah and Sadiq Alhassan were all that Dreams FC needed to emerge winners of the MTN FA Cup trophy.

Dreams FC have added to their list of achievements winning the 2023 MTN FA Cup by beating King Faisal by 2-0 on Sunday afternoon.

Dreams FC achieved a remarkable feat on Sunday as they clinched their first major trophy by defeating King Faisal in the final of the Ghanaian FA Cup.

A goal in each hal by Abdul Aziz Issah and Sadiq Alhassan were all that Dreams FC needed to emerge winners of the MTN FA Cup trophy.

After Dreams FC won 2-0, their opponents were disappointed since they lost the chance to make up for being demoted from the Ghana Premier League, which led to the joyful scenes.

Both teams showed a strong desire to win the desired crown as the game began.

But it was Dreams FC’s Aziz Issah who made history in the 20th minute with an incredible solo goal that put his name in the record books.

In addition to giving his team the lead, Issah’s goal also served as the catalyst for an exciting contest.

As the game went on, King Faisal fought bravely to tie the score, refusing to be discouraged.

But Dreams FC’s strong defense and tactical skill turned out to be a daunting barrier ensuring King Faisal’s inability to get past Dreams FC’s tenacious backline despite their best efforts.

Karim Zito’s team will represent Ghana at the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup, making this victory even more significant for them.

Dreams FC will now get the chance to represent their nation in a prestigious competition while competing on the continental scale.
