Ghana’s U23 side the Black Meteors wrapped up their training session for the week at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence on Thursday morning.
Tanko’s boys engaged Uncle T FC in a friendly clash before wrapping up their weekly session.
The U23 side won 3-0 against the Division One League side in the friendly that looks like the last game on home soil before their trip to Egypt.
The Meteors have been training at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence since Monday.
The home-based contingent of the players have been permitted to join their clubs for the weekend’s ultimate Ghana Premier League games.
The team will reassemble on Monday and are likely to take off to Egypt to continue their preparations.
The U23 AFCON Tournament starts on June 24 in Morocco with Ghana in Group A with hosts as well as Congo and Guinea.
