The Ghana female U-20 side yesterday beat their counterparts from Nigeria 3-1 on penalties after the game ended 1:1 in the 90 minutes to lift the maiden edition of the WAFU Zone B U-20 Girls tournament trophy held in Kumasi.

Well-determined Black Princesses showed grit in the penalty shootout as the goalkeeper saved three of the kicks of Nigeria for Ghana to win 3-1 on penalties.
Reacting to the victory of the Black Princesses, Mr. Kurt Okraku who celebrated his 52nd birthday days ago wrote on his official Facebook wall that, “A special birthday gift I will cherish for long.”
