Ghanaian midfielder Alex Opoku Sarfo has won the 2022/2023 Cyprus League title with Aris Limassol.
Limassol wrapped up the season on Saturday with a 4-3 defeat to Apoel Nicosia at the GSP Stadium in Nicosia.
The minnows wrapped up their first ever League title following their last week 1-0 win over Omonia Nicosia and the defeat of their main rivals in the championship race, APOEL Nicosia’s to Apollon Limassol.

Aris Limassol will compete in the UEFA Champions League qualifications next season.
The 18-year-old Ghanaian signed for the Cypriot club in the winter transfer window from Ghanaian Division two side Benab FC.
Opoku was part of the Black Meteors side that qualified for the upcoming U23 African Cup of Nations in Morocco.
He’s expected to be in Ibrahim Tanko’s squad for the upcoming mundial.
