“We are going to play top 4” – GHALCA Chairman Kudjoe Fiano insists

President of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), Kudjoe Fianoo has confirmed they have decided to stick to top four for the famous GHALCA Top 4 tournament in the off-season.
GHALCA last season were forced to make changes in the format in order to accommodate Hearts of Oak in the competition.
However, speaking to Original FM in an interview, Kudjoe Fianoo says the two teams should forget about playing in the GHALCA Top 4 tournament if they fail to finish in the top four at the end of the Ghana Premier League season.
“What we plan to do is to play Top 4, no plus and no minus. We are going to play Top 4. When we add more teams it takes the significance away from the tournament so we are sticking to just four teams.
“Even if Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko do not make the top 4 we will still play GHALCA Top 4,” Kudjoe Fianoo said.
The GHALCA Top 4 tournament was introduced as a preparatory competition to help Ghanaian representatives in the CAF inter-club competitions.
