Match Report: Abednego Tetteh scores late to earn a draw for Goldstars against Asante Kotoko

Asante Kotoko’s home extended their winless run to three games following a 1-1 draw against Bibiani Goldstars on Sunday.

A late strike from Abednego Tetteh broke the heart of the home side after Sarfo Taylor had given the a first half lead.

Kotoko started the game on a high note and took the lead just four minute after kick-off.

Solomon Safo-Taylor scored a well-taken goal after receiving a well-placed pass from Richmond Lamptey.

Despite dominating play and creating numerous opportunities, the Porcupines failed to add to their lead.

After the break, Goldstars came in strongly hoping to cancel their deficit.

The visitors efforts finally paid off when former Hearts of Oak striker Abednego Tetteh scored an equaliser in stoppage time.

Kotoko remains sixth on the League standings with 44 points, whiles Goldstars sits on seventh with 42 points.
