2022/23 ARFA Division Two Middle League Day 1 results: Benab FC, PAC, and First Klass grab wins
The 2022/23 Ashanti Regional Football Association(ARFA) Division Two Promotional tournament got underway on Friday at the Baba Yara Stadium.
In Group B, Highflying
Benab FC continued their dominance by beating Mahala Academy by 1-0.
A late strike from Antwi Boasiako handed Benab a massive win in their opening group game.
The second group, B game, registered a five-goal thriller as Jachie United came from a goal down to beat zone six winners Kumasi Academicals in a pulsating encounter.
Sadam Abdulai netted a sensational second-half hatrick to secure the win for the Jachie-based side, Issah Sumaila and Abdallah Adam got the consolations for losing side.
The opening group A game sawvPAC Academy overcome Royal Kumapem FC by 2-1 in what was an exciting encounter.
Goals from Charles Owusu and substitute Emmanuel Mintakwah gave the Offinso based side a massive win
It was really a cagey encounter and what a way it was to climax day one after last year runners up Pro Players Academy got stunned by First Klass FC with a narrow 1-0 loss- in a tough clash both teams ended with ten men.
