Ghana’s Black Starlets (Male U-17) continued their good start in the UEFA under-16 youth development tournament beating Spain 3-2 on Saturday.
A brace from Great Corinthians forward Benjamin Tsivano and a strike from Hammond Peter saw Ghana came back from a goal down to win the carry the day.
The Black Starlets finished the game with 9-men after two players were sent off in the second half.
The 3-2 win is Ghana’s second win at the UEFA under-16 youth development tournament. The team defeated host nation Serbia 4-0 in the first game.
Ghana will return to action on Tuesday, April 18 against Switzerland in the final game of the competition.
