Ghanaian midfielder Leonard Owusu has completed a move a to Norwegian second tier club Odds BK.
The hardworking Midfielder has penned a two-year deal with the club following successful negotiations.
Owusu, 25, joins Odds as a free agent after leaving MLS outfit Vancouver White Caps in December 2022.
A statement on the club’s website read,
The Ghanaian has played for the Vancouver Whitecaps in the American league MLS in recent years. Owusu is a midfielder who is strong in tackling and reliable in passing, which is very similar to his namesake Solomon Owusu.
Sports manager Morten Rønningen is very pleased that Leonard chose to make the trip to Odd. “Leo is a player we have followed for quite some time and we are incredibly pleased that he chose to sign for us. He is a player who fits in well with the way we want to play and I am looking forward to seeing him between Skagerak Arena.”
He has signed a contract until 2025.
