Chris Hughton names maiden Black Stars squad or AFCON qualifiers against Angola

Chris Hughton has announced his maiden Black squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers this month.
Twenty-five players including Patrick Kpozo, Majeed Ashimeru and Joseph Wollacott have been selected for the doubleheader against Angola.
The former Brighton & Hove Albion manager has also included Edmund Addo of Spartak Subotica and Ransford Yeboah Königsdörffer as well as established players like Thomas Partey, Daniel Amartey and Andre Ayew.
Ghana are scheduled host Palancras Negras at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Thursday, March 23, 2023.
The Black Stars will then travel to Luanda three days later for the reverse fixture at Estadio 11 de Novembro at 17H00.
Ghana are joint top of the Group E table with 4 points from two games following a 3-0 win over Madagascar and a 1-1 draw with Central African Republic in June last year.
