Hamza Mohammed left frustrated following Accra Lions defeat

Tamale City head coach Hamza Mohammed was left frustrated following their defeat to Accra Lions on Matchday 20 of the betPawa Premier League.
Lions grabbed a vital away win at Aliu Mahama stadium courtesy of Dominic Amponsah’s strike late in stoppage time.
The gaffer bemoaned his side’s inability to take their chances in the most crucial stages of the game.
“Prepare teams map out strategies it will be left with the players to go in and deliver. Players expect the coach to teach him on the field, tell him what to do on the field, map out those strategies and expect the same coach again to come and put the ball at the back of the net,” coach Hamza said after the game.
“The most important thing is to teach how to create the chances which if we were to take those chances we should be up by two or three in the first half and unfortunately we didn’t. That is football if show’s us that we have a lot of work to do very big setback,”
“Knowing very well that we have another two matches to play at home that would have take us off the danger zone that is football we take the positives and then though difficult and go and work on and possibly see what will happen,”
The result means Tamale City are 17th on the standings with 20 points.
