Ghana Premier League side, King Faisal FC are contemplating on changing their home venue for the second round of the Betpawa Premier League season.
A source close to the club has told FMIG the club want to use Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex as their home ground for the second part of the season.
The club is currently using the Baba Yara Stadium for their home games but could change in the second round pending approval by the Club Licencing board of the Ghana Football Association.
King Faisal game against Real Tamale United could be their last game at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The Insha Allah boys are currently 16th on the League log with 17 points after 17 games.
Abrankese Sports Stadium as it was previously known was the home ground of Kessben FC now Medeama SC and was owned by business mogul Kwabena Kesse before being bought by another business mogul Dr Kwame Kyei. After selling Kessben FC, the stadium was used by Kesse’s brother, Rev Osei Bonsu for his Moment of Glory Prayer Army (MOGPA) church service.
Before Dr Kyei bought the stadium to be used as the home ground of his team, Nations FC formerly known as Bekwai Youth Academy, there were reports in the media that Kotoko were interest in buying the stadium
